Health Services

Health Services for clients

The health and nursing staff of the reception centre take care of the initial health checks during the entry phase, as well as associated screening examinations. Nurses conduct patient receptions and, when necessary, guide clients to services outside the reception centre. Monitoring of chronic diseases, health promotion, and guidance work are tasks performed by the nursing team. In the reception center, clients’ vaccination protection is updated, and the medical treatment of clients is managed. The health and nursing staff of the reception center are also responsible for recording patient data in the national patient register.

Some health care services are provided and produced by public and private service providers outside the reception centres. Such services include general or specialist medical services, oral health care, maternal and child health clinic services, and school and student health care. The well-being region provides emergency and specialized health care services. Clients can access external services with a payment commitment, evaluated by the reception centre’s nurse. Seamless collaboration for the benefit of the client between different services is of paramount importance.

Clients can contact the health care staff  via telephone: 044 706 1268. Health care staff can be reached on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 am to 11 am.
