In the summer of 2025, Varkaus Library will gain a significant addition as the new Varkaus Community House opens its doors on the library’s lower level—a warm, welcoming meeting place for people of all ages. The Community House offers opportunities to meet, participate, and be heard—as your authentic self.

The Community House is a space where everyone can feel they are a valuable part of the community. It helps prevent loneliness and social exclusion by strengthening community spirit, participation, and trust between people.

Activities at the Community House are planned and implemented in cooperation with the City of Varkaus and local organizations, responsibly and based on mutual trust.

Come join us to make a difference, participate, or simply spend time in good company.
